Minimum Eligibility Criteria
- No family or business ties to any other province outside of NB;
- Max age limit of 55;
- A security deposit of CAD$100,000 to government;
- IELTS mandatory CLB 5;
- Minimum 2 years post-secondary degree and Educational Credential Assessment (ECA);
- Minimum CAD$600,000 net worth of all assets between husband and wife (min $300,000.- available liquid assets/cash required);
- Minimum intention to invest CAD$250,000;
- Minimum 33% ownership of the new or existing business in Canada;
- All assets in the home country to be verified by the third party audit company.
Advantages

Disadvantages
- Age / Education / IELTS minimum requirements;
- Provincial visit/seminar attendance is mandatory;
- Will not accept applicants with family ties in other provinces;
- The program opens/closes during the year due to high demand;
- Specific applicant professions/backgrounds are preferred (i.e. experience in the banking sector would be a disadvantage unless having other investment experiences).
