Antigua & Barbuda are two islands located between the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. Antigua and Barbuda is offering a citizenship investment program since 2013.
This program allows the investor and their family direct citizenship/passport within a very short period of time.
More than 165 countries allow visa-free travel with the Antigua & Barbuda passport (including EU, UK, Hong Kong, Singapore, Russia, etc). Parents of the applicant can also be included in the application who are the age of +58 or older. Children of the applicant up to the age of 28 can be included in the application for citizenship/passport. No taxes on the worldwide income of citizens.
Investment requirements
The investor can choose either one of the following investment options for Antigua & Barbuda:
- US$100,000 non-refundable contribution to the Antigua & Barbuda government (National Development Fund) for families of 5 or fewer members.
- US$150,000 contribution to the University of West Indies (for families of 6 or more members)
- US$200,000 real estate investment (5-year holding period)
The real estate investment options also offer rental income for the investor – which the developer and hotel management company arrange. Expectations of 4-6% net income per year are usually possible through these real estate investment programs for Antigua & Barbuda.
Residency requirements
Applicants must spend 5 days in Antigua anytime in the first 5 years of becoming a citizen. To be clear: not 5 days every year and only in the first 5 years, no such requirement after. This can be done anytime.

- Processing fee: US$ 30,000 per application for a family of up to 4 (US$ 15,000 additional from the 5th family member)
- Passport fee: US$ 300 per person
- Principal applicant: US$ 7,500 due diligence

- Child 0-11: free - Child 12-17: US$ 2,000
