Both the Canadian government and schools all across Canada have implemented new measures to allow international students to begin their programs from their home countries. This will save students the insurance and accommodation fees while allowing them to use the time studied online towards their post-graduation work permit after completing their studies. Our English partner schools as well as many of our College and University partners have implemented different delivery modes. They are now offering programs:
If you start an Academic Program online from overseas you may now study until April 30, 2021, with no time deducted from the length of a future post-graduation work permit, provided 50% of your program of study is eventually completed in Canada. This date may be extended, depending on the COVID status in the country. Students who have enrolled in a program that is between 8 and 12 months in length, with a start date from May to September 2020, will be able to complete their entire program online from abroad and still be eligible for a post-graduation work permit. Tanto el gobierno canadiense como escuelas a lo largo de todo Canadá han implementado nuevas medidas para permitir a los estudiantes internacionales comenzar sus programas desde su país de origen. Esto les entrega la posibilidad de ahorrar en costos de seguro, alimentación y alojamiento, además de permitirles usar el tiempo estudiado de forma virtual para obtener su Permiso de Trabajo de Posgraduación después de completar sus estudios.

Si inicias un programa académico online desde el extranjero, ahora puedes estudiar hasta el 30 de abril de 2021, sin reducir la duración final de tu permiso de trabajo posterior a tu graduación, siempre que el 50% de tu programa de estudio se complete en Canadá. Esta fecha puede extenderse, dependiendo del desarrollo de la pandemia mundial en el país.
Los estudiantes que se hayan inscrito en un programa de entre 8 y 12 meses de duración, con una fecha de inicio entre mayo y septiembre de 2020, podrán completar la totalidad de su programa en línea desde el extranjero y aun poder optar a un permiso de trabajo de posgrado.
Si estás interesado en mejorar tu inglés, los programas de inglés general, así como la mayoría de los programas de Pathway (programas de inglés para entrada a la educación superior) y de Inglés para Fines Académicos pueden completarse completamente en línea.
