Be aware! IRCC now has full access to both your entry & exit information from almost all Canadian ports of entry/exit if you are:

- Applying for sponsorship in Canada

- Applying for your work permit, study visa, or visitor visa in Canada

- Canada citizenship and/or PR applications

- Asylum applications

The Canadian government will access your entry & exit information to determine if you:

- Qualify to immigrate to Canada

- Have overstayed in Canada without a valid visa or permit

Previously, ONLY entry information was available. Now both entry & exit information is available to various government agencies.
